Elderly Woman Beaten to Death by Her Son

A tragic accident has led to the death of a 77 year old mother, Shirley Lindgren, who allegedly was beaten to death by her son this week in her own home. Reports share that this woman was found in her home after having been beaten by her son, and died later Wednesday morning from the severe head injuries that she received, according to the autopsy.

Mr. Lindgren, the victim’s husband was beaten as well though his injuries were not fatal. The police share details about the arrest claiming that they picked up the son, Michael Lindgren, at the scene of the crime where he claims that he had to kill his parents because they were somehow “ripping him off.” Serious injuries are taken very seriously by the court, especially in the event that it led to a person’s death, and another to be in critical condition.

At Jackson, Allen & Williams, we are an experienced litigation firm in the area of serious injuries. With years of successful cases, we can say with confidence that our clients are in good company. We understand how traumatic it can be when a person is badly abused or killed because of the negligence or harmful motives of another person. Even if it happens to be a loved one who committed the violent crime, no person should be left to sit alone without seeking justice and financial compensation for their troubles.

Victims who are badly injured may never be able to walk again, or may suffer other lasting injuries because of the tragic situation they were put through. At our firm we want to help our clients fight for what they deserve, including the financial troubles it has caused; including the financial stress it may cause in the future.
